Police are looking for a man following a carjacking early Sunday near Yonge Street and Spring Garden Avenue, north of Sheppard Avenue.

Police said a 40-year-old woman was trying to park her vehicle when a man approached her around 12:30 a.m. The man opened the vehicle door, grabbed the victim by the arm and ordered her out of the vehicle.

The suspect had his right hand concealed inside his sweater pocket, which made the victim believe he had a weapon.

The suspect fled east on Spring Garden in the victim's vehicle.

There were no injuries.

The suspect is black, 20 to 25 years old, five-feet 10-inches to six-feet tall, 175 to 180 pounds with a medium build.
